Do any of you know where I could find a I Hate the Georgia Aquarium?
Personally, being a Middle School student in Georgia, studying biology is in the curriculum. When I went to the Georgia Aquarium I was quite bored. As the minutes when on, that boredom turned to almost hatred, with the ads everywhere and the baluga whales on display in that oversized fish cave. Don’t chastise me but, I don’t thing animals belong in places like this. After recently hearing avout the euthinization of Gasper and the still unexplained death of Ralph the Whale Shark that just tore the last straw. So, I feel like going on a “I Hate the Georgia Aquarium” web site. I am also writing a poem about how cruel it is to keep animals in zoos and aquariums, are there web sites where I could research this?
If you go to the yahoo home page and do a search, just type in 5 words. “Make your own bumper sticker”. You will come with a lot of sites where you can do just that. Then you can make a bumper sticker that says
“I hate the Georgia Aquarium!”
Of course, you can’t drive yet………….
I was about to make fun of you, then I noticed that for a middle school-er, your question is pretty well written. Maybe you CAN make a difference. I would think, however, that some of the people who work at the aquarium would have a degree in that background. I would assume that they would have caring for these animals. Maybe you can schedule an interview with one of them, and find out about it more.
If you really want to do research about it, just try typing in different word combinations before you search. Try such words as aquarium, neglect, zoology, marine, biology, shark, abuse……..
You’re bound to come up with some great sites.
