How can I beat my evil jealousy?
I’m a strong girl, but easily get jealous, of things like when people are in happy relationships, when people get good vacations, and when people have good jobs, but I cannot understand most why I get jealous when someone I know lives in the suburb in a big house, clean house, nice king sized bed, pretty dining area, roomy spacey house, and why God let’s them have it and not me, all I got is a tiny apartment where the walls are caving in (thanks to the landlorde property)
Alright. Take this strongly. A lot of people who seem to “have it all” actually can be the saddest people ever. You don’t need material things to be happy. Sure it makes you happy, temporarily but eventually it wears off. What matters most is family and friends and being there for each other.
Sure its nice to have the luxury of a beautiful big house… after being in it so long , you would not be happy and would rather have a mansion instead.. And then after that… even a bigger one. You live the strategy that “the grass is greener on the other side” You see the lines but not in between the lines. Realize that what is most important in life is making the most of what you have and people around you. If you don’t like where you live and can’t afford moving to something better , then drive around more.. Take a road trip. Save up for a mini-vacation. Sure its not the same , but its getting out and enjoying whats out there.
