caving novels
I need a new book. I like historical novels==have read all of the Outlander Series and the Clan of the Cave B?

ear series. Any other book or author ideas?

I’m reading two series right now that I enjoy very much. The first is by Margaret Frazer about a troop of players who become involved in murder mysteries set in 15th-century England. This series is a spin-off from her Dame Frevisse novels set in the same time period with a Benedictine nun as the detective.

Another, shorter series I liked is the Mistress of the Art of Death novels by Ariana Franklin, set in 12-century England under King Henry II. The main character is a woman doctor from Palermo sent to England at the request of the King of England to the King of Sicily asking for help in sorting out a series of murders that is causing unrest and threatening his tax income.

Both series are well researched, well written and have memorable, 3-dimensional characters.

I also enjoyed the Outlander and Clan books, too.
