What are all of the supplies that you NEED for a leopard gecko?
I know that you need a 10 gallon tank, food (obviously), food dish, water dish, hide cave, heating pad, that moss box thing, and substrate…… is that all?
Calcuim dust to sprinkle on the crickets. It’s about £6 and you only need a tiny bit for the crickets.
She will need to be fed 6-8 crickets every couple of days.
I don’t think you need a food dish considering they eat live crickets and they are going to be moving around the tank.
Only put the moist box in when the gecko is turning white. This means that they are ready to shed. Spray the box with water and place it under the heat mat. The gecko will eat the shedding. It’s natural for them to get the nutriants.
Despite what somebody else has said, they do not need a UV light. So long as they have a heat mat!
Also, I do not use a thermomitor and the man in the shop said I didnt need one.
You will also need sand for the bottom of the tank.
I also have a toilet tube in with her so she can crawl through it LOL.
