Caving Push Trips

well, food is the problem.?
Been exercising a lot and noticed results over the last month. I ride 30 miles on my bike everyday which takes about 1:45 minutes and always take my dog on a walk every night for 3 miles. A few days ago I rode to a distant lake which turned out to be a very hilly 68 mile round trip. Also do curls with dumb bells, squats, lunges and push ups.
However, eating healthy only lasted 2 weeks or so. I went out and bought a lot of healthy food but it ended up costing me a decent amount and for the first couple weeks I was able to turn down food that people at my house were having (normally pizza, deep fried food etc) but these last few days I keep caving in. I will be scooping out ice cream and literally start getting angry but still eat it. I was just about to go to bed and wasn’t hungry at all but a friend brought over a steak sub which I ate. A greasy steak sub with hot sauce and ketchup mmm.
I just can’t seem to eat healthy.
It is difficult, when you are surrounded by tempting foods. It is easier when you are on your own. Scooping up ice cream once in a while is ok. Keep it to perhaps once or twice a week since you are exercising great. I eat occasional ice cream on my low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein diet too. I even lost more weight while on ice cream almost daily because I was moving house and that was a hectic week. On normal circumstances, don’t try it daily. The fats, sugars and calories add up.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
This lifetsyle helps me with my sweet and carbs cravings. Even when I eat ice cream now, I don’t like eating a lot. It doesn’t taste that good when it is too much. I don’t have cravings for subs. But if you tempted, just eat the steak for now. Reading about the additives and chemicals added on fastfoods is a great incentive for me to turn away from fastfoods.
Healthy foods do not need to cost a lot if you buy fresh produce like vegetables, lean meat and complex carbs.
