Can anyone help me with some spelunking/caving tips?
Me and few friends are first time spelunkers, weve never done it before.
but we really want to and we dont want to just go on a cave tour,
we want to actually have to crawl through spaces and mud with ropes and stuff.
We live in colorado, so any caves near there would be sweet.
Are there many caves you can just get into without anyone knowing?
tips would be greatly appriciated
Don’t do it by yourself or with an inexperienced friend, first off you wont know what you are doing, secondly the caves are most likely on private property and are probably locked with a gate.
Your best bet is to look up a local caving grotto. These are groups of experienced people who have access to many caving sites. Do a search for a caving grotto in your area to have a fun and safe experience while spelunking.
