Tennessee Caving Trips

Advice for summer trip through Tennessee and Kentucky?
My husband and I want to take a road trip through these two states this summer to see Mammoth Cave and the Great Smoky Mountains. What are some other must see or must do things on the way? We will have about ten days and will also be detouring to Indianapolis for a night or two to visit family. Any suggestions welcome!! Thanks.
those are 2 great things to see and explore, but don’t miss getting to Nashville! You don’t have enough time to see all ther is to see and do, but here’s a short list…. Country Music Hall of Fame, The 2 mile downtown walk which passes the capitol building, Belle Meade Plantation, Belmont Mansion, Cheekwood, Frist Museum, Walking around Music Row, Travellor’s Rest, Edwin Warner Park, Centennial Park where there is a full size replica of the Parthenon, Percy Priest Lake, Nashville Shores Waterpark, Farmers Market, lots of great restaurants, and more. Try not to miss it!
Chattanooga is really cool, too with sites like Rock City, the Incline Railroad, Ruby Falls, the Aquarium and lots of stuff along the River. Have fun on your trip
